Born in the UK in 1967, Ian graduated from the University of Hull in Yorkshire and embarked on a career in Sales and Marketing within the travel industry. Following a relocation to Vienna with his Austrian wife in 1996, he moved into the field of training, with a special focus on negotiation and presentation skills. Ian consults numerous blue chip clients in Austria and further afield as well as lecturing and coaching students at several leading universities and colleges. Having completed his MBA studies, graduating as his year’s top-performing student, Ian also works as a certified business coach and was recently involved in the preparation of a negotiation scenario for the IBA – VIAC Mediation and Negotiation Competition and has acted as an expert assessor at CDRC several times.
