Rissiane Goulart serves as Deputy Vice President of CCAMI — the world’s first chamber dedicated to mediation, conciliation, and arbitration for human rights and refugees. A highly respected Brazilian business lawyer and strategic negotiator, she brings more than two decades of experience advising on complex domestic and cross-border matters. Over the past decade, she has increasingly focused her practice on mediation, establishing herself as both a leading practitioner and a recognised voice in the development of the field.  Rissiane holds a Master’s degree in International Law from California, USA, and a degree in International Relations from São Paulo, Brazil. She is certified by the National Council of Justice (CNJ) and the International Mediation Institute (IMI). Within the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB), she plays a prominent role, representing the Federal Council in the CNJ’s Working Group on Public Policies for Over-Indebtedness. She also serves as President of the OAB’s Mediation and Conciliation Committee for the State of Santa Catarina and as Secretary-General of the OAB’s National Special Committee for Mediation and Conciliation. Internationally, Rissiane is listed as a Distinguished Neutral by CPR Dispute Resolution in New York, a recognition that reflects her expertise in complex commercial disputes. Since 2018, she has also served as judge and expert assessor in some of the most renowned international mediation and negotiation competitions, including the ICC Mediation Competition in Paris, the CDRC Vienna, and the CPR International Mediation Competition in New York Rissiane is co-founder and co-organiser of the Brazilian Mediation Day, held annually in Paris during the ICC Mediation Competition. She also authored the final case presented at the 20th edition of this prestigious global competition.
