Professor, Dean, and Legal Ethics Chair at New Vision University School of Law. International and national consultant in ADR/Mediation for the Council of Europe and a Mediation Expert for UNDP and USAID. She is a trainer and practicing mediator, as well as a co-founder of Resolve. Conducted and designed a series of mediation training and (TOT) programs in Georgia, Ukraine, and Armenia. Contributed to the design of accreditation systems for mediators in Armenia, Ukraine, and Georgia, and developed labor dispute resolution systems for the Ministry of Economics, the Parliament, and the Legal Aid Service of Georgia. In 2019, Sophio established an annual Labor Law and Consumer Law Moot Competition at NVU. This event combines moot court and mediation simulations around the same case. Teams from universities across the country participate every year. Served as a Judge/Expert at several international competitions and events including:
