Zouhdi Yakan is a skilled mediator (IMI Qualified and CEDR-accredited) and a Partner at LAW HOUSE – Shaikha Almehrzi Advocates & Legal Consultants, where he leads the firm’s arbitration and ADR practice. He has mediated and co-mediated a wide range of disputes—including commercial, employment, landlord-tenant, and civil matters—as a volunteer with the California Academy for Mediation Professionals (CAMP) in Los Angeles. He has shadowed leading mediators such as Lee Jay Berman and Richard Chernick, and co-trained a 40-Hour Mediation Training Program with the ABA and Pepperdine University in Jordan. He has authored and co-authored several publications on mediation and arbitration, including “Mediation: Are All Disputes Alike? Strategies for a Mediator to Successfully Navigate Particular Situations” for LexisNexis and works like “Procedural Steps in a DIAC Arbitration (2022 Rules)” for Thomson Reuters’ Practical Law. He is listed on the mediation rosters of the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration (SCCA) and the Lebanese Arbitration and Mediation Center (LAMC), and holds an LL.M. in Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine University. He also speaks regularly at international conferences on ADR.
